Damaged shock absorbers can negatively impact driving stability, ride comfort, and tires. During driving, this imbalance causes the car to veer to one side, requiring constant steering adjustments to maintain a straight line, increasing driving difficulty and fatigue. Simultaneously, this veering causes uneven tire-to-road friction, leading to accelerated tire wear, shortening tire lifespan, and increasing tire replacement costs.

The abnormal noises caused by aging and detaching shock absorber top mounts should not be underestimated. The shock absorber top mount acts as a buffer against impacts between the shock absorber and other components. When it ages and falls off, the shock absorber will directly collide with surrounding parts during operation, producing annoying noises. Weak shock absorber springs are equally problematic. When shock absorber springs lose their proper tension, they cannot effectively perform their damping and cushioning functions. When the vehicle travels over bumpy roads, excess impact force is transmitted to the body, and passengers will noticeably experience increased bumps. Furthermore, this increases the hydraulic pressure on the shock absorber, making it more prone to oil leaks and other malfunctions over time, further reducing the vehicle's overall performance.
